Sweet Cider Liquor Fanjul

Varieties

Variety of traditional cider apples such as Raxo,De la Riega,Verdialona,Regona and D Tresali. Grown in the heart of Asturias where the climate and soil are ideal for the cultivation of these varieties.

Elaboration

In the summer the cider is distilled slowly in order to produce a spirit of about 58ºA with which we make our liquor. During harvest time juice is added until the level of alcohol reaches 25ºA and then we leave it to settle and mature in barrels until bottled.

Characteristics

It`s a semi sweet spirit Only containing the sugar of the apple itself. The distillation and the generous level of alcohol make it a warm liquor, full of body. The acidity and unique characteristics of the apple result in a diversity of rich,warm sensations.

Recommendations

To fully appreciate this liquor it is best to drink it cool but not excessively cold. Due to its high alcohol content it has a long period of conservation although it should not be stored near sources of light,humidity or strange smells.
